Release notes for Timepiece for Jira Cloud v5.0.0

Important Note

With this release, we introduced the Scheduled Reports & Alarms feature, which includes the ability to send Timepiece reports via email. To make it possible, this new version of Timepiece asks for an extended permission scope to access user email address information.

Please note that the email addresses are used ONLY for Scheduled Reports feature. Timepiece retrieves those addresses while sending emails and immediately discards them after use. Timepiece does not permanently store your user emails or any other Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Due to this scope change, the usual automatic update of Timepiece is not going to happen. A manual Update by the Jira Admin is required.

If not updated, Timepiece will remain on its current version and will not receive this update or any following updates. This will cause breaks in Timepiece functionality. You are strongly recommended to update the app as soon as possible.
